We have been doing business here for 28 years and people still come to us so, we are comfortable that we have consistently made dreams come true.

Meeting

We will organise a suitable time to meet with you on site. In these meetings we require that all decision makers are present so nothing is missed.

Steve or Bob will discuss with you ideas, needs, wants, budget, location and timeframe.

A checklist will be used to make sure we cover everything. We find that this successful approach ensures that your building or renovation experience is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible.

Plans

You may have your own plans or need help to create plans. With our extensive experience and knowledge we can help you in this area.

We have Architects and Draftsmen with whom we work closely. Through these people we can create initial concept and then the final plans.

Submitting plans to Council can be an arduous task, we are here to help you through this process too. We often use Coastplan or Accuplan to help facilitate this process.

Pricing

Once you have final plans we will then work to prepare a comprehensive building quote with our Quantity Surveyor.

The quote will clearly outline the Inclusions and Exclusions giving you a clear understanding of what the build will cost. A comprehensive quote will make the building process smooth and successful.

We offer both Fixed Price and Cost Plus contracts, we are happy to use either option. We will discuss the benefits of using both and determine which will suit you.

Contract

Once we have the final plans it is time to sign the contract for your building project.

Steve and Bob choose to use HIA contracts. HIA contracts are clear and simple to understand.

When signing the contract you will have a Home Owners Warranty Insurance policy provided by “icare hbcf” which covers you for a 7 year structural warranty.

At his stage you will likely meet some of our team who will be helping us to create your dream renovation.

Construction begins

Steve and Bob along with our Head Foreman will run the project. One of them will be easily contactable.

Communication throughout the building process is critical, our aim is to make this whole building project as easy and painless as possible for you.

Steve and Bob will be responsible for the budget, Contractors, Materials and Inspections by Engineers and Councils.

Steve is PAC trained and knows the benefit of working with various parties, like designers and architects, to eliminate nasty surprises when it comes time for the project costs.
