This project was an amazing project to work on and we are proud to be finalists in the HIA Hunter Region Renovation / Addition Project $300,000 – $350,000.
When you have clients who are so excited and appreciative it reminds us why we do what we do and why we love it so much.
This 20 year old home has had a huge makeover so that it would suit the growing family. The design was opened up to make the home unrecognisable.
What did we do:
- New Kitchen
- New Bathroom and Ensuite
- New Laundry
- New custom Linen cupboards
- Added a large Alfresco area to the area and installed a Plungie pool. Around the pool we built a Modwood deck installing privacy screens and glass balustrade.
- Extended the living area out into the back yard creating this amazing Kitchen
- New Vinyl planks to the living areas
- New Carpet to the bedrooms
- Painting internally and to the Fascia and Gutters
- New lighting through out and ducted Air Con

Phoenix Place Project Before
Steve and the team are magical at their craft. Everyone is so friendly and approachable through out the whole process. We could tell Steve is very well respected with all trades. He is good at delegating and directing in a friendly, concise way. He is organised and efficient and has wonderful communication throughout the whole renovation.He genuinely just wants to see you happy. He listens to what you want and finds a way to make it work. Even when problems arise you can see him work through every avenue he needs to to secure what you desire. He steps up for you when he needs to and really supports you, always saying ‘leave it with me’. He’s been supportive since the project was completed and has remained communicative and helpful.

Brownie is a genuine ray of sun light. He is resilient, happy, generous, consistent and the person you want on your worksite. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
Cam is one of the most down to earth, kind, patient and lovely people you’ll ever meet. He just wants to do anything he can for you.
I’m in awe of the work everyone has done. We can’t believe that this is our house and we get to live in it.
B&S Nelson have created a gorgeous home for our family. For our major renovation we had a conservative budget but the team have made it look like a home of affluence.
